AI FOR HUMANITY

With the recent advancements in AI and technology, many opinions have gone back and forth about the place that AI has in society, in design, and in the military. Forward Edge AI is a company that sees AI as a tool to help in the areas of public safety, national security, and defense. The following projects were used in different public showcases to display the technology Forward Edge is working on to use AI to solve complex problems.

protection against cybersecurity attacks

Isidore Quantum is a device used in preventing cybersecurity attacks. To communicate its use, a large display poster was created with eye-catching statistics and lists the various projects that Isidore Quantum is already a part of. To deepen the conversation, a handout was created that featured a game-like scenario in which attendees were invited to act as a hacker and see if they could break past the device in the scenario.

protection against Biochemical attacks

Blaise is like having a personal lab at your very fingertips. For this project, we were tasked with coming up with an efficient way to draw interest in the product without having the function device present. As this device was still in production at the time of the project, the client asked that we come up with a way to describe the reasons for creating such a device and a scenario in which it would be most beneficial.

The solution: Two posters were created; one a storyboard detailing a scenario to a live biochemical attack in which the Blaise device saves the day, and another that could be easily seen across the conference hall highlighting important factors of the device. A small postcard was created as well for conference attendees to take with them with more detailed information.
